3-stage temperature heat settings adjusted by an exterior push control button the outside of gauntlet. The high setting will warm up your hand quickly within seconds. If you do not require that quick heat, drop it down to the medium setting. Once your hands are nice and warm, reduce to the low setting to maintain temperature and save battery life. Heat elements around each finger on the backside of the glove provide 7 hours of heat.
