800 series was developed by Akkar based upon new user demands, and came with production line improvements and performance related innovation. This included an over under made of steel that was not too heavy, that had lower profile, and a modern sleek look. Special alloy hammer forged steel receivers are milled in such a way as to leave only what is necessary on the action bar while achieving a non-traditional appearance. That enabled a compact and low profile design with lighter weight.
